{Weekend Recap}

Happy Monday! I can’t believe how fast time is flying. I feel like this summer is going SO fast isn’t? I still feel like there are so many things that I haven’t done on my summer bucket list.

So to slow it down a lil, I took a personal time off from work this past Friday. I wanted to take a day off to catch up on some errands, elongate my weekend, and of course, spend some precious summertime with the kiddo.

On Friday, I was running around with the kiddo to drop off some dry cleaning, take her passport photo, go to the library, get some groceries, and grabbed some gelato in between our errands. We also managed to find some time to head to the park before we stopped by for pizza on our way home. The girl was passed out by 9 pm(this is early for us, she has not been going to bed early at all so my husband and I were SO happy!). The great thing about city living is I am able to do the majority of my errands all within 5-10 min walking distance. With a toddler, that makes a world of a difference.

Too early for this. And it took me a year to get her in pigtails. They didn't last.

On Saturday we applied for the kiddo’s passport (a grueling two hour wait in line and one impatient toddler but we did it!), hit up the farmer’s market and headed to the park. It was packed of course. It was a glorious day in the mid-70s. Also, lots of relaxing in between.

We rounded out the weekend by heading to the park in the morning and then taking a nice early afternoon stroll to have lunch. After her nap, we walked to my former university nearby and just pretty much took in the green space there, barefoot and all.

Hope you all had an eventful, good weekend! Summer is winding down, so make the most of it!
